SEDP Governing Board Meeting discusses budget and beneficiary selection

Aizawl, 14 March (Zoram News): The SEDP Governing Board meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga today at the CM Conference Hall.

During the meeting, the budget for the new year 2023-24 and the selection of beneficiaries were discussed along with the assistance distribution schedule and other important issues. It was informed that the second installment of the assistance for 2022-23 had already been paid to the relevant departments for 60,000 beneficiary households.

The meeting resolved that all necessary arrangements would be made by the end of March 2023 to ensure full payment to the beneficiaries as soon as possible.

Deputy Chief Minister Pu Tawnluia, Minister Dr. R. Lalthangliana, Pu Lalchamliana, Pu R. Lalzirliana, Pu K. Lalrinliana, Pu Lalchhandama Ralte, Pu Lalruatkima, and Pu T.J. Lalnuntluanga were also present at the meeting. The Vice Chairman of the State Planning Board, Pu H. Rammawi, and the Secretary of Planning and Program Implementation, Pu Lalmalsawma Pachuau, were also present.
