Training for Presiding and Polling Officers held for Lunglei Municipal Council Election

Lunglei, 14 March (Zoram News): The Training for Presiding Officers and Polling Officers for the upcoming Lunglei Municipal Council Election was conducted today at Govt High School Lunglei.

The training was led by Pi Carolyn LB Khiangte, DCSO Lunglei, who trained the Presiding Officers. Pu Denny Lalchhuanawma, BDO of Bunghmun, provided training to the 1st Polling Officers, while Pu Vanlalchhuanliana, DTO/BDO of Lunglei, gave training to the 2nd Polling Officers.

The importance and duties of Presiding Officers and Polling Officers for the Lunglei Municipal Council election were briefed during the training.

The election is scheduled to be held at 44 polling stations, with 55 Presiding Officers, 55 1st Polling Officers, and 55 2nd Polling Officers on duty.
