Aizawl, 31 July 2021 (Zoram News) : Health Minister Dr. R. Lalthangliana chuan Aizawl on Friday inspected the ongoing preparations for COVID Care Centres which include the Multipurpose Sports Complex, Joint YMA Field, Aizawl and Rajiv Awas Yojana (RAY) Building in Falkland as well as the preparation to turn Kulikawn Hospital into a DCHC.
The Multipurpose Sports Complex, Joint YMA Field PWD, PHE, Health & Family Welfare Department received the Minister with the team preceding to check the water connection, electric power supply and power back-up in these buildings. It is expected that the three floors of the Multipurpose Sports Complex will be able to hold around 80 persons.
The Rajiv Awas Yojana (RAY) Buildings in Falkland is expected to hold around 300 people and preparations are ongoing to set up a water connection with all other requirements arranged.
