Chief Secretary of Mizoram along with various government departments held a conference at the MINECO Conference Hall to discuss the MyGOV Mizoram platform.
During the conference, the Chief Secretary highlighted the importance of the MyGOV platform in facilitating better communication between the government and the people of Mizoram. The platform provides citizens with a direct link to government services and allows them to voice their concerns and feedback. The Chief Secretary emphasized the need for departments to actively engage with citizens through the platform and utilize the feedback received to improve government services.

The MyGOV platform was launched by the central government on July 26th, 2014 and has since been implemented in 21 states across India, including Mizoram. The platform was developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) with the Department of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) serving as the State Nodal Agency.

During the conference, it was announced that each department would appoint a Nodal Officer to oversee their activities on the MyGOV platform. The Department of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) will provide training to the Nodal Officers to ensure they are well-equipped to manage citizen engagement on the platform.

This initiative is expected to increase citizen participation in government activities and enhance transparency in government operations.
