Aizawl, 20 Feb (Zoram News): Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati visited National War Memorial in New Delhi this morning.

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati visited National War Memorial in New Delhi this morning.
At the site, Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati paid homage to our fallen heroes by laying a wreath on the pedestal of the memorial stone. He was received by top Army Officers at the site with whom he had brief interaction. On this occasion, Governor expressed his sincere appreciation and admiration for the supreme sacrifices made by our soldiers to uphold our sovereignty. He also penned his thoughts at the visitor's book.

Hari Babu Kambhampati, being the first person from divided Andhra Pradesh and first Telugu person serving as Governor of Mizoram in North East India. He was a member of parliament to the 16th Lok Sabha from Visakhapatnam (Lok Sabha constituency), Andhra Pradesh. He won the 2014 Indian general election being a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate. Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati has been appointed Governor of Mizoram on July 6, 2021
