BCAS Director General meets Chief Minister

Aizawl, 11 Feb (Zoram News): Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga today met Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) Director General Pu Zulfiqar Hasan and his delegation at his office.

The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security is a department under the Ministry of Civil Aviation that is responsible for the safety of civil flights at domestic and international airports in India. BCAS Director General said that Mizoram is fortunate to be a peaceful and secure state. He also discussed with the Chief Minister the importance of security and BCAS's measures for civil flight safety.

Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga said that BCAS' initiatives and plans for Lengpui Airport are good. He said that training of staff as required and security related measures will be taken in consultation with the relevant departments.

Regional Director Pu Gopinath Singh, Jt. Director Pu Mukund Mohan and DDG Pi Kavaita Jalan; Chief Secretary Renu Sharma, DGP Mr. Devesh Chandra Srivasta, IGP Mr. John Neihlaia, Aviation Wing Principal Consultant Wg.Cd.J. Deputy Controller, Aviation Wing Pu Lalsangpuia and OSD to CS Pu Zorintluanga were present.
