68th National Wildlife Week 2022 Painting Competition Organized

Aizawl, 2 Oct (Zoram News): In celebration of the 68th National Wildlife Week, 2022, Chief Wildlife Warden, EF & CC Department organized College and High School level Painting Competition at SAD Conference Hall, MINECO last week.

In celebration of the 68th National Wildlife Week, 2022, Chief Wildlife Warden, EF & CC Department organized College and High School level Painting Competition at SAD Conference Hall, MINECO last week.
Around 50 students of High School and around 30 students from College and Mizoram University participated at the Painting Competition. The prize will be distributed as 1st to 3rd prize and consolation prize to the three participants after the competition is over.

Compassion to Wildlife' is selected for the theme of the Painting Competition for High School and Higher Secondary School. 'Climate Change and Save Wildlife' is a selected theme for College and University.

The main function of the 68th National Wildlife Week 2022 will be held on October 3, 2022 (Monday) at 11:30 AM at Assembly Annexe, Treasury Square which will be graced by T.J. Lalnuntluanga, Minister of EF & CC Deptt.

The National Wildlife Week is celebrated from the 2nd to the 8th of October every year in India. This week aims at protecting and preserving India's flora and fauna.

Wildlife Week was conceptualized in 1952 with a long-term goal to safeguard the lives of the endangered and threatened species of animals.
