Governor Appoints Four MLAs as Advisers to Chief Minister with Minister of State Rank

Aizawl, 14 Dec (Zoram News): Mizoram's Governor, Hari Babu Kambhampati, has named four MLAs as Advisers to the Chief Minister, granting them the rank and status of Minister of State effective from the date of assuming their responsibilities.

The appointed advisers and their respective roles are as follows:

1. Lalmuanpuia Punte: Adviser to the Chief Minister (Political)
2. TBC Lalvenchhunga: Adviser to the Chief Minister (Finance)
3. H Ginzalala: Adviser to the Chief Minister (Technical)
4. Dr. Lorrain Lalpekliana Chinzah: Adviser to the Chief Minister (Health & Family Welfare & Agriculture)

This significant development follows Governor Kambhampati's address during the first session of the Ninth Mizoram Legislative Assembly on December 13, where he outlined the government's strategic directions for change, growth, and development in Mizoram.

Commencing his address, Governor Kambhampati extended congratulations to the people of Mizoram for their robust participation in the recently concluded general election held on November 7, 2023. The Governor highlighted the notable voter turnout of 80.43%, emphasizing the increasing and profound interest of the Mizoram populace in the electoral process.
