Aizawl, 18 July (Zoram News): Sainik School, Chhingchhip, has emerged as the triumphant force in the highly anticipated U-17 Football Championship. After being crowned as Zonal Champions, the school's talented team showcased their exceptional skills, outplaying four other top-tier Zonal Champion teams. The Inter Zonal Football Tournament 2023-2024, popularly known as the All India Sainik School Championship, took place at Sainik School Goalpara, Assam, from July 10th to July 15th, 2023.
Adding to their list of accomplishments, one of the talented cadets from Sainik School, Chhingchhip, was honored with the coveted Best Player trophy. This exceptional player's outstanding performance on the field left spectators and opponents in awe.
Following their resounding triumph, the U-17 football team from Sainik School, Chhingchhip, is now fervently preparing to represent other Sainik Schools in the illustrious Subroto Cup.
