Mizoram University declares Under Graduate results

Aizawl, 6 June (Zoram News): Mizoram University has announced the results for the 2nd, 4th, and 6th semesters of the Undergraduate (UG) courses, catering to both regular and repeater students. The results, which encompass both theory and practical exams, were officially released today.

Out of the 6,371 regular students who appeared for the examination, 4,969 successfully passed, resulting in a commendable pass percentage of 77.99%. Additionally, 396 repeater students were examined, with 232 passing, yielding a pass rate of 58.59%. When considering both repeater and regular students, a total of 6,767 candidates sat for the examination, and 5,201 individuals successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 76.86%.

The achievement of two Gold Medalists from Pachhunga University College, one from Govt. J.Buana College, and one from Govt. Zirtiri Residential Science College is noteworthy. Lalduhsaki, who obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a specialization in History, secured the gold medal with an impressive CGPA of 9.42. Jeffrey Vanlaltlana, who pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biotechnology, received the gold medal with a notable CGPA. Another outstanding student, C. Lalnunhlimi, earned the gold medal for Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) with an exceptional CGPA of 9.84.Saipari, a graduate of Govt. Zirtiri Residential Science College, attained a CGPA of 8.39 in Bachelor of Science (Home Science). These achievements highlight the excellence of students under Mizoram University.


In terms of specific programs, for B.A. regular candidates, out of the 5,329 students who appeared for the examination, 4,092 successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 76.83%. In the B.Sc regular examination, out of the 605 candidates examined, 489 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 80.83%. For the B.Com regular examination, out of the 401 candidates examined, 364 successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 90.77%. In the case of B.Sc (Home Science) regular candidates, out of the 36 individuals examined, 24 successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 66.67%.

Notably, PUC (Pachhunga University College) achieved an impressive pass percentage of 93.00% in B.A. (Regular: 93.98% and Repeater: 71.43%). In the B.Sc program, the pass percentage was 87.41% (Regular: 88.38% and Repeater: 60%). The B.Com program achieved a pass percentage of 95.08% (Regular: 95% and Repeater: 100%). Govt. Zirtiri College achieved a pass percentage of 66.67% in B.Sc Home Science.
