EVM Demonstration Centre Aizawl inaugurated

12 July (Zoram News): In preparation for the MLA General Election, 2023, Pu Lalnunfela Chawngthu, the Election Officer of Aizawl, inaugurated the EVM Demonstration Centre at the DC Office, Aizawl today.

The EVM Demonstration Centre has been established to provide information and create awareness about Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and the electoral process. Visitors to the centre will have the opportunity to learn how to use the EVMs and experience the voting procedure firsthand. The aim is to educate and familiarize the public with the functioning of EVMs and the process of casting votes.

The EVM Demonstration Centre is located at the DRDO Office, New Capital Complex, Aizawl, as well as the BDO Offices in Aibawk and Darlawn. These centers will serve as platforms for citizens to gain practical knowledge about the voting machines and the voting process.
