Mizoram to Host Y-20 Meet on Nationalism, Patriotism & Development Programme

Aizawl, 11 July (Zoram News): Mizoram is gearing up to host the Y-20 Meet on Nationalism, Patriotism & Development Programme, a significant youth engagement initiative organized jointly by the Sports & Youth Services Department and Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), a prominent student organization in the state.

Government of India's Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports has selected Mizoram as the venue for the Youth-20 Programs, which form part of India's G-20 Presidency. These programs aim to foster youth participation and involvement in various developmental endeavors. The G-20 Secretariat has coordinated these initiatives, focusing on discussions and deliberations related to the state, its people, and the nation as a whole.

Sports Department and MZP have collaborated to organize the event, ensuring active participation from Mizoram's youth and citizens. Distinguished speakers from Mizoram will deliver insightful speeches at the gathering.

The Y-20 Meet is scheduled to commence on July 14, 2023, at 1:00 PM in Vanapa Hall. The event will be graced by the presence of Mizoram Chief Minister, Mr. Zoramthanga, and is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from Aizawl and other districts of Mizoram. This initiative seeks to provide a platform for young minds to engage in discussions surrounding nationalism, patriotism, and the overall development of the state and the nation.
