Aizawl, 27 Feb (Zoram News): Mizoram government issued a notification today with an appeal to all the officials under the Government of Mizoram to celebrate the festival of Chapchar Kut 2023 by wearing and promoting the Mizo traditional attires.
An important festival of Mizoram 'Chapchar Kut, 2023' is to be celebrated throughout the State on 3rd March 2023. As this festival promotes the cultural values and traditions of Mizo, it would be appreciated if all the employees under the Government of Mizoram and various Public Sector Undertakings, Boards, Bodies, and Agencies under the State Government wear the Mizo Traditional Dresses to offices from 27th February 2023 to 3rd March, 2023.
All Administrative Heads and Heads of Departments are requested to bring this to the notice of all officials and employees under their respective departments.
