Chief Minister innaugurated Zarkawt Community Hall

Aizawl, 26 Feb (Zoram News): Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga inaugurated Zarkawt Community Hall yesterday. The hall was built with Rs 7 billion from NEDP.

The Chief Minister said that the community hall, which was funded by the previous government, was inaugurated today. He said that the work was done successfully despite the pandemic. The Chief Minister said that Mizote are fortunate to be united as a community. He said that the use of these community halls is an important expression of our culture.

Suvidha Infrastructure, Upper Khatla, Aizawl was selected as the contractor for the construction of Zarkawt Community Hall. Construction work started on October 4, 2018 and completed on January 31, Five-storey building with a total area of 1382.80 Sq.m. Chowkidar quarter on Basement 3, Multipurpose Hall on Basement 2, Parking on Basement 1 and ground floor, Multipurpose Hall on first floor for 210 seats, Badminton hall on second floor with two courts.
