Assam Rifles organised Drawing competition

Aizawl, 11 March (zoramnews): Aizawl Battalion under the aegis of Headquarter 23 Sector Assam Rifles, and Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) conducted “Drawing competition as a part of perception management” at New Vaikhawtlang, Hnahlan, Mimbung and Ngopa villages today.

The aim of the event was to encourage the kids for taking part in artistic and creativity based activities thereby promoting their overall development and motivate the children in indulging themselves in creative things which are essential for their overall development specially in young age.

Such events not only develop the creativity in kids but also assists with developing executive functions, which includes working memory, mental flexibility and self control.

The multi-faceted effort by Assam Rifles was well received by the people. The villages chiefs and general public appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles and requested to continue with such socially advantageous events in future.
