Indian Army Begins Phase-II of Agniveer Recruitment in Aizawl

Aizawl, 13 June 13 (Zoram News): The Indian Army has launched Phase-II of its Agniveer Recruitment process this June across various regions of the country. As part of this phase, the Army Recruiting Office in Aizawl will conduct a Recruitment Rally for shortlisted candidates from all districts of Mizoram. The rally is scheduled to take place at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Mualpui, Aizawl, from July 4 to July 5, 2024.

Candidates are required to report to the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium at 4:00 AM on July 4, 2024, bringing their admit cards and other specified documents mentioned in the rally notification. The shortlisted candidates will undergo a 1.6 km run and basic physical fitness tests, in addition to physical measurements and a medical examination during the screening process at the rally site.

The Indian Army has advised candidates who have not yet received their admit cards to contact the Army Recruiting Office in Aizawl to obtain them. A preparatory meeting, presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner Pu Isaac C. Lalrempuia, was held on the morning of June 13, 2024, at the DC Office Conference Hall. Representatives from various government departments attended to discuss their roles in ensuring the success of the recruitment rally.
