The event had a total of 61 civilians and 32 AR troops in attendance
The primary objective of the lecture was to promote fitness and discourage civilians and troops from engaging in drug abuse. Drug abuse is a widespread issue globally and can result in severe physical and mental health problems, addiction, and even death. Raising awareness about drug abuse prevention is, therefore, crucial.

The lecture emphasized the importance of educating people, particularly young individuals, about the dangers of drug abuse and its adverse effects on society. Schools and universities were encouraged to include drug education in their curriculum to teach students about the harmful effects of drugs.

Special emphasis was laid on drug abuse prevention awareness and its negative impact on society, particularly on youth. The harmful effects of recreational drug abuse on health were also discussed. The locals were advised not to engage in such illegal activities that could impair their future.

The Aizawl Battalion received heartfelt gratitude from the locals for enlightening them about drug abuse prevention awareness for the betterment of society.
