Mizoram Upa Pawl held 48th General Assembly

Aizawl, 29 April (Zoram News): Mizoram Upa Pawl to Distribute Old Age Pension from October 2022-March 2023, Announces Social Welfare Minister Lalrinawma at 48th General Assembly

Mizoram Upa Pawl (MUP) General Headquarters held their 48th General Assembly at Vanapa Hall yesterday,  where Social Welfare Minister Lalrinawma was the Chief Guest.

Social Welfare Minister Pu Lalrinawma was announced that the old age pension will be distributed from October 2022 to March 2023.

Lalrinawma emphasized that MUP is an important organization that contributes to the welfare of the society. He mentioned that the organization is dedicated to helping those in need, including people affected by HIV/AIDS and women who face various challenges.

The MUP General Assembly was led by President Lalhuapzauva and General Secretary Thanglura. The organization has 586 branches and 64,100 members. The leaders discussed various issues, including the welfare of children and the importance of education.
