Lalrosanga discuss Indo_bangla border road issues

Aizawl 10 APril (Zoram News): Lok Sabha Member of Parliament, C Lalrosanga, met with the Union Minister of State for Home, Nityanand Rai, in his office chamber to discuss the urgent need for repairs on the Indo-Bangla border road. 

Lalrosanga expressed his concern over the neglected condition of the roads previously maintained by the Border Roads Organisation, which are now under the Central PWD.

During the meeting, Lalrosanga mentioned the Home Ministry Border Management's plan to repair an 88.58 km stretch of road along the border and stressed the importance of high-quality repair and management. Rai acknowledged the urgency of the situation and suggested taking action before the monsoon season begins.

Lalrosanga also commented on the issue of refugees from Myanmar and Bangladesh entering Mizoram, stating that authorities need to show compassion and respect for their basic human rights.
