Forest Minister calls on Union Forest Minister

 Aizawl, 9 March (Zoram News): Mizoram's Environment, Forest & Climate Change (EF&CC) Minister, T.J. Lalnuntluanga, met with Union Forest Minister, Bhupender Yadav, in New Delhi today to discuss various environmental issues. Lalnuntluanga presented a proposal outlining several initiatives being undertaken by Mizoram to promote sustainable forestry.

Mizoram's Environment, Forest & Climate Change (EF&CC) Minister, T.J. Lalnuntluanga, met with Union Forest Minister, Bhupender Yadav, in New Delhi today to discuss various environmental issues. Lalnuntluanga presented a proposal outlining several initiatives being undertaken by Mizoram to promote sustainable forestry.
During the meeting, Lalnuntluanga highlighted the development of 77 school nurseries, a Nagar Van Yojona project for 14 towns, and the Green India Mission (GIM) initiative being implemented in various districts. He also spoke about the establishment of a Protection Squad and Satellite Rescue Center in Champhai, as well as the Bethlehem Vengthlanga Forest Research Center for Bamboo & Rattan (FRCBR).

Yadav praised Mizoram's efforts towards conservation and assured Lalnuntluanga of his support in achieving their goals. The ministers discussed the allocation of funds for these projects in the upcoming financial year.

The meeting was held in the capital city and focused on the important issue of sustainable forestry. Both ministers expressed their commitment to working together towards protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices.
