Aizawl, 13 March (Zoram News): Baptist Church of Mizoram has announced a budget of 12,642.87 rupees for the years 2023-2024. The church is planning to use this budget to fund various projects, including the construction of a new pandal structure, the creation of a Mizo language Bible commentary, and the hiring of two medical officers. In addition, the church will be creating 32 new posts and filling three vacancies. The budget will also cover the cost of 53 contract workers.
The budget represents a 7.22% increase over the previous year's budget of 11,793.03 rupees. The church expects to generate revenues of 851.84 rupees, while its expenses will be 12,642.87 rupees, resulting in a deficit of 4.62 rupees.
The church is optimistic about its ability to meet its financial goals, and is committed to using the funds in the most effective manner possible. "We are excited about the projects that we have planned for the coming year, and we are confident that we will be able to meet our financial targets," said Rev KV Thanga, the outgoing president of the Mizoram Baptist Church. "We are grateful for the support of our members, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community in the years ahead."
