Aizawl,16 March (zoramnews): The Mizoram Journalists' Association organised a blood donation drive on Tuesday in observation of the association’s Golden Jubilee. The blood donation drive was held at Civil Hospital Aizawl blood bank. There were 16 donors from the MJA consisting of 15 male and 1 female.
Mizoram Journalists' Association (MJA) which will be celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year on March 23, kicked off jubilee celebrations at Aizawl Press Club on January 9. Lalthanhawla, the first MJA President and ex-Chief Minister was invited as Chief Guest. He lit the Jubilee flame as a sign of inauguration of jubilee celebrations.
As part of the Mizoram Journalist Association Golden Jubilee celebration program, a Workshop on Stress and Stress Management was organised for members of the Mizoram Journalist Association on February 23. The resource persons at the workshop were Clinical Psychologists Dr. Lalremruati and Rebecca Lalnundiki.
