Aizawl, 22 Feb 22: Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati addressed the ninth session of the eight Legislative Assembly Of Mizoram, today. The session will conclude on the 10th March 2022. This Session would be largely concerned with the Budget for 2022-2023 and other Legislative Businesses.
In his address of the ninth session of the eight Legislative Assembly Of Mizoram, Governor Hari babu Kambhampati welcomed the Legislators at the commencement of the session and expressed his confidence in having successful conduct of the House during the session. He urged all the Legislators to always maintain the dignity of the house, to have a deep sense of responsibility and purpose during the session and invited everyone in the House to engage in the high standard of debate.
Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Governor maintained his confidence in his government to continue its steady march on the path of peace and prosperity. He emphasized the need to strive for augmented growth for the State, while ensuring that this growth is inclusive, with benefits reaching all sections of society, especially the poor and marginalized.
The Governor then proceeded to highlight some of the achievements made under his government during the ongoing financial year
