MNF calls out for unification of Mizos, lambasts Congress

Aizawl, 23 April: Mizo Nationalist Front (MNF) president Zoramthanga said that they will continue to expect the unification of all the Mizo as they had under the leadership of Denga, written in the preamble of MNF Constitution way back in 1961.

Zoramthanga also said that it is good that Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla recently graced the Chapchar Kut celebration by fellow Mizos in Myanmar. He further said that the Congress government had approached the Centre to declare the northern part of Mizoram as a disturbed area and had also tried for enforcement of Arm Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) in the area.

Zoramthanga also said that the ensuing Village Council election in 31 villages within HPC (D) demand Area is the result of MNF’s initiative.
