Mizoram MP C Lalrosanga seeks cCooperation from Northeastern MPs to end violence in Manipur

Aizawl, 7 May (Zoram News): The lone Mizoram Lok Sabha MP Shri C. Lalrosanga held talks with MPs from Northeastern states and MLAs from Churachandpur to address the ongoing violence in Manipur. The discussions centered around the prospects of evacuating victims to tranquil zones and providing them with adequate supplies and security.

During his conversations with Union Minister of State for External Affairs Dr. Ranjan Rajkumar Singh, MP from Inner Manipur Constituency and Dr. Lorho Pfoze, MP from Outer Manipur constituency, Shri C. Lalrosanga emphasized the need to provide better food supplies to people seeking refuge in the Imphal CRPF Camp. He also requested fellow MPs to provide security and vehicles for those who wish to depart for Churachandpur.

Shri C. Lalrosanga also had talks with Shri Paolienlal Haokip, MLA Churachandpur, and both agreed to meet in Aizawl to discuss further initiatives and strategies on the issue. Additionally, the MP had a conversation with Mizoram CM Shri Zoramthanga on the prospect of arranging flights and vehicles for people who want to leave Manipur for Mizoram.

Meanwhile, Shri C. Lalrosanga has been actively engaging with the offices of the Union Home Minister and the Union Home Secretary to address the situation in Manipur. These collaborative efforts aim to bring an end to the violence in the state and provide much-needed relief and support to the affected communities.
