Tourism Boost for Mizoram as State Gears up to Host Major Tourism Conference

Aizawl, 26 April (Zoram News): Tourist Guide Federation of India (TGFI) is all set to hold its 24th Annual Convention in Aizawl on May 25-26, 2023. This convention is expected to witness the participation of around 150 delegates from various parts of India, including tourism service providers such as tour operators, travel agents, tour guides, and accommodation units.

This convention is expected to witness the participation of around 150 delegates from various parts of India, including tourism service providers such as tour operators, travel agents, tour guides, and accommodation units.
The two-day event will take place at the Dawrpui Multipurpose Hall and is expected to see the attendance of more than 200 people. Mizoram's Chief Minister, Pu Zoramthanga, is expected to be the Chief Guest at the conference, and Tourism Minister Pu Robert Romawia Royte, along with senior government officials, will also be in attendance.

The conference will be jointly sponsored by Mizoram Tourism and the TGFI, with the aim of promoting tourism in the state and discussing ways to enhance the quality of tourist services in India. With this event, Mizoram is expected to gain more visibility and attention as a tourist destination in India.
