Home Minister to inaugurate ₹ 2,414 Crore projects in Mizoram

Aizawl, 29 March (Zoram News): Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth ₹2,414 crore in Mizoram on April 1. The visit aims to boost infrastructure and development in the northeastern state.

During his visit, Shah will inaugurate the construction of the Assam Rifles Battalion Headquarters Complex at Zokhawsang, valued at ₹163 crore. The complex will serve as a vital center for the paramilitary force that guards Mizoram's 510 km border with Myanmar. The construction of the 'Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) under Smart City Ltd (ASCL), worth ₹119.2 crore, will also be inaugurated.

The remaining projects include the construction of Zorinpui-Longmasu NH-502A, valued at an estimated ₹781.85 crore, Aizawl Bypass (Package-1) NH-6 worth ₹329.70 crore, Aizawl Bypass (Package-3) NH-6 worth ₹720.72 crore, and the construction of Laldenga Centre worth ₹193 crore.
