Governor hosts state’s cultural program for G-20 summit delegates

Aizawl, 1 March (Zoram News): Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati hosted the state’s cultural program and state banquet for the high dignitaries of India and foreign countries along with the delegates who arrived in the capital for the Business 20(B20) of G20 to be held in the state from March 1 – 3, 2023. The event was organised at the Circular Lawn, Raj Bhavan this evening.

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati hosted the state’s cultural program and state banquet for the high dignitaries of India and foreign countries along with the delegates who arrived in the capital for the Business 20(B20) of G20 to be held in the state from March 1 – 3, 2023. The event was organised at the Circular Lawn, Raj Bhavan this evening.
In the august presence of Pu Zoramthanga, Chief Minister of the host state, notable among the esteemed guests at the program were Shri Som Parkash, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Commerce & Industries, Mr Manfred Auster, Consul General, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mrs Sofia Salas Monge, Minister Counsellor and Consul General, Embassy of Costa Rica, Shri Anil Mutha, Chairman, Mutha Industries Pvt Ltd and Shri Pradip Bagla, Co-Chairman, CII, NE Council. From the host state Ministers and the MLAs also attended the program.

The dignitaries and the delegates were entertained with song and dance choreography, a traditional fashion parade showcasing the rich heritage of Mizoram, choreography with a fusion of traditional and contemporary dances based on the popular Mizo folktale about the orphan brothers – Liandova te unau and other special items. The state dinner was served after the cultural program.
