State Bank of India donated 50 ICU bed to Mizoram Government

Aizawl, 22 March 22(zoramnews): As part of the CSR initiative, the country's largest lender State Bank of India has donated 50 ICU Beds to Mizoram government . The programme was held at Chief Secretary Dr Renu Sharma in her office chamber .

The general manager of Network-II of State Bank of India (SBI), North Eastern Circle, Guwahati, L Thangboi has handed over to Renu Sharma, Chief Secretary, Government of Mizoram . The aforesaid ICU beds was manufactured by United Company cost worth for one bed Rs 72,379/.

Chief Secretary Dr Renu Sharma has extended her gratefulness and thanked to SBI for their kind assistance.

In her keynote speech reveal that under government initiative during pandemic crisis Public Sector and Private sector has taken various initiatives to help people.

General Manager, SBI Lunkim Thangboi said that during COVID pandemic SBI has donated as many as 1600 PPE full Kit, 10 Ventilator to Aizawl and various district headquarter Lunglei, Lawngtlai and Siaha . Besides, the bank also donated an ambulance to Serchhip Hospital under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
