Lunglei, 17 March: A one day theory & practical training on Computerization of Registration, National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) was held for Lungeli District Land Revenue & Settlement Department staff members and CSC (Common Service Centre) Operators at DRDA Conference Hall, Lunglei yesterday.
NGDRS was launched for Aizawl District in 2019 and since has been implemented in 2 other Districts viz Serchhip and Kolasib.
Under the NGDRS, property registration facilities would be available online. An initiative of the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development, the ‘One Nation, One Software’ under NGDRS has been designed by the NIC, Pune, with a view to bring uniformity in the process pertaining to registration of properties, lease agreements etc.
