IRCON gets appointed as 'Project Implementation Agency' for project in Myanmar

New Delhi, 28 Feb (ZRN): Ircon International, is an engineering and construction company, has been appointed as ‘Project Implementation Agency’ for ‘Construction of Road from Paletwa (Myanmar) to Zorinpuri (Mizoram) under Kaladan Muti Modal Transit Transport Project (KMMTTP)’ in Myanmar, on EPC mode at lump sum cost of Rs 1,780 crore by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

Ircon InternationalThe duration of the project shall be forty months from the effective date i.e. date of execution of the necessary agreement which will be executed within next 14 days.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.45 or 1.12%, to trade at Rs 40.55. The total volume of shares traded was 166,175 at the BSE (11.48 a.m, Monday).
