Siaha 25 Feb 2022 (ZRN): Shri Lalsangliana, Deputy Commissioner of Siaha District held a meeting with Heads of Offices of Siaha District at DRDA's District Rural Resource Centre, here at Siaha today.
In his opening remarks, Shri Lalsangliana said that as he was newly posted at Siaha, the meeting was mainly to familiarise himself as well as build a rapport with the various officials of the district. He hoped to garner full cooperation from each and every Head of Office to ensure smooth running of district administration. He added that it would be impossible for the DC Office alone, without the full cooperation and support of all the departments, to do any sustainable work. He said that government served the public best when all the departments coordinated well and worked cohesively.
The DC also pointed out that the MADC Election was around the corner and that although DC office would as usual be at the helm of affairs, it could not pull off a free and fair, inclusive and transparent election without full cooperation and concerted effort of all the departments. DC Shri Lalsangliana encouraged the HoOs to voice their opinions and added that suggestions for the betterment of the district administration would always be welcomed.
After a round of self-introduction, each of the officials gave brief reports of their department offices.
Shri V. L. Lura, SP and Shri Abraham Beirazi Khithie, Addl. D.C. also shared their experiences in their respective police and civil services, while encouraging the district officials to keep up the good coordination between them in carrying out their various works for the development of Siaha district.
