Champhai, 19 March (Zoram News): District Information & Public Relations Office in collaboration with District Hospital organized Media Sensitization Workshop on Novel Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) at I&PR Conference Hall, Champhai, today.
Dr.Lallawmkima, DIPRO Champhai reiterated the importance of media and their roles in handling critical issues like the recently emerging Covid-19, he also talked about the precautionary and preventive measures taken up by the State Government. Elaborating on the roles of media as a pivotal medium to spread the government’s policies and plan to the people, he insisted them to pay sincere attention to the Sensitization programme and report only reliable informations to the people.
Resource Person for the day Dr. R. Lalrinmawia, MD, Anaesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine, District Hospital Champhai defined the whole story of Novel Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19), answered all queries from the Media. The Workshop concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Pu Lalhmingmawia Pachuau, President, MJA Champhai District.
