London, Jun 15, 2017: British songstress Adele visited London's Grenfell Tower on Thursday in a show of support to those affected by the deadly blaze that claimed 17 lives and injured numerous others.

The Telegraph reported that the multiple Grammy award winner and her husband Simon Konecki were photographed comforting people at the scene.

"Adele was spotted at the Grenfell Tower today offering her support to everyone affected by the tragedy," one Twitter user shared along with Adele's pictures.

Other celebrities like Lily Allen and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver also showed their support in different ways, Allen offered support and supplies on social media while Oliver provided free food and drinks to the affected at his restaurant in nearby Shepherd's Bush.

The fire at Grenfell Tower on the Lancaster West Estate in Latimer Road was reported at 01:16 AM (local time) yesterday. About 600 people were believed to have been inside the tower's 120 flats, many of them asleep, when the blaze ripped through the building, reports PTI.

Firefighters worked through the night to dampen the massive blaze that engulfed a 24-storey residential tower block in west London.
