Club America goalkeeper Moises Munoz was the star of the Mexican Cup final on Sunday after he scored a last-minute goal and saved a penalty to help his team claim the trophy.
The 33-year-old emerged as an unlikely hero after netting an amazing diving header in the 93rd minute of normal time, then kept out the opening spot-kick in the 4-2 penalty shoot-out victory that followed.
Local rivals Cruz Azul held a one-goal advantage from the first leg of the Liguilla Clausura clash, and took one step closer towards the title when they broke the deadlock in Mexico City midway through the first half.
But, Aquivaldo Mosquera drew the sides level on the night in the 89th minute, before Munoz made it 2-1 after heading home from a corner in the last minute of injury time.
With no further goals in the 30 minutes of extra-time that came after, the cup final had to be decided by a penalty shoot-out.
Munoz came to the fore once again, saving the opening spot-kick and helping Club America on their way to a 4-2 victory.
